    Stuck on install

I know this has been covered, but i could not find a firm answer regarding the matter.

With the GC system are the front strut spacers on top or on bottom....see diagram. (note: tubes are stock lenght)

The spacer tubes go on top of the strut.

Regarding GC's KONI strut inserts they told me the spacers go under the strut, at least that is what I was told by them. It also depends on which spacer they sent you if you cut the strut bodies down 1" and reweld the spring hat back on or regular length strut body with longer spacer. But not sure if thats what you are asking about though

you have to put the correct length spacer(for stock tubes) under the gc koni inserts to make them work. Doing what the other poster said will make the strut rods to short to reach all the way through the springs, so much so that the springs would be coil bound with no load on them. Like your picture 1 !!

Thats how i have it setup right now. The spacers are for the stock tubes so i should be good to go. Thanks for helping clear that up.
