Would M3 springs be right for me?

I might be getting some bilstine sports in a bit and i want to lower my car a bit too while im at it. i only want to lower it about 1/2" to an inch because cabrios alredy have lower mid sections and i scrape sometimes as it is. i also want it just a little stiffer but not much. would M3 springs provide what im looking for? ive herd of some people using those on coupes but would that be a suitable setup for a cabbie? thanks in advance for any input

Im pretty sure the M3 springs are stiffer than yours, you'd have to search though. I once bought M3 H&Rs, and because the rear of the M3 has more wieght, they where longer than normal lowering springs. As a result, the rear of my car wasnt lowered alot, not as much as the front anyway.

i dont think id advise billy sports with m3 springs, i think the springs would be too long you might wanna try billy HD (its the same as sports but an inch or two longer)

Yeah, supposedly they have the same dampening characteristics.
I have M3 springs on my car and they are a good bit stiffer than normal springs. Not too harsh though and the way BMW should have made them from the factory in my opinion.

Don't waste the extra on Bilstein Sports if you're going to run the M3 springs. Bilstein HD's will be perfect. I have M3 springs on my daily driver 85 and I am very happy with them.
