NEWBE! I just bought a 1987 325i and i wanna get new suspension

i was looking at the ones on bav auto, its like a kit with billy shock absorbers and with new springs. but their is two different models something like 2/87 and 3/87. i don't know the difference so i don't know witch one to get! the sticker on the car says 8/87 but idk what to do cause i wanna do this soon cause the car rides like crap now. any advice would be awesome!

Searching will reveal many options. I suggest Bilstiens and IE3's. Put on some sway bars while you're at it.

Before upgrading, do some basic maintenance. Throw in the upgrades as you do the maintenance (ie if you need to replace your CAB's, get upgrades) If you need new shocks, get upgrades. Go ahead and get new control arms, tie rods, engine/tranny mounts. Basically, don't forget about maintenance when you do the modding.

edit: only the really early models have the smaller diameter shocks.
