Installed H&R Srings and Koni Adjustible Shocks (Pics Before and Afer)

I know this was asked quite few times to see the pictures with lowering springs...

So here are some before and after pictures of my 1991 325i with S50
H&R 1.3" drop all around and Koni Yellow Adjustables.

All in all I am very satisfied with this set up. I set front shocks to stiffest position and rears just few clicks back from the stiffest to see how harsh of a ride I will get and the results were better then I expected.

While driving on not-so-rough road the car feels nice and stiff, while not too bouncy or jumpy. But while on rough bumps it gets a little harsh on stiffest settings, but still bearable.

Body roll is minimal and in turns I can feel how my old, crappy, high side walled tires are bending and wanting to give out... But a new set of wheels and tires will make this set up complete...

I measured the car before and after it was lowered and the lowering was exactly as advertised 1.3 inches.

Aren't you supposed to leave the Koni's at the softest setting for x amount of miles to break them in?

I wouldnt advise dropping the front more. The oil pan is already very close to the ground.

                Status: HG repair. 488wtq though!

                  +1

Needs thicker rear spring perch pads. Oilpan won't like being dumped much further.

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.

As it was already said - the car can't go any lower. The oil pan is already very close to the ground. Also I have IS lip that is going up front and when I clip it on i have only about 0.5" clearance and my drive way is not steep at all.

Also the rear looks a little lower on the pix then it actually is...

You guys and your damn oil pan bitching. lol Its only on H&R Sports for pete's sake.

The oil pan isnt that close to the ground. Look at how low mine is, and I havent hit it once in 12k miles.

Drop looks good. just take out the front spring pads and add one rear.

I roll on H&R race daily. NO issues at all. I have been driving my eta for the last 13k miles with ZERO problems. The PO for a few years before me. My turbo is even lower and has an is lip with splitter. Never one problem either.

My guess would be the roads on West Cost (WA, OR) are much better then here in philly.
Plus all the speed bumps on every plaza and drive up's to them are not "Lip" friendly.
