Hey guys
Been searching around, and I cant find the answer to my question. About a month ago I installed Mk Motorsport springs on Bilstein struts. I didnt replace anything else, just reused old hardware and strut mounts etc.. Well, after installing and double checking everything, seemed good. Test drove the car, pretty hardcore actually. Everything was perfect and felt good.
Now, the ever so famous clunking noise came. I've been advised by another mechanic friend I installed the rear hardware incorrectly.
Does anyone have the order of which the hardware goes on the rear? I'm going to be ordering the JT Design rear shock mount.
I mimiced the way it was installed by the PO and currently have the cup shaped washer underneath the top most shock bolt facing up. Like a cup and not down like I thought it should be.
Any ideas? I've found in a couple of other threads people asking the same question and it never got answer. Hope this thread proves useful for the archives.
Thanks in advance.
