    how low is too low?

i just installed cosmo racing coilovers and bilstein sports in my 89 325i and i was wondering how low is too low? i have them adjusted all the way down i believe its like 2 3/4" lower in the front and like 2" in the rear. i just dont want to mess up my bilsteins. any info would be greatly appreciated.

so far no complaints at all they give a great ride nice and stiff but not uncomfortable. I'd recommend this set up to any e30 owner. i haven't tracked my car yet tho.

Unless heavily modified, Cosmo Racing Coilovers do not allow you to go low AT ALL.

Even at full-dump it's like barely lower than factory height

            Fucking stupid

and what shocks are you using in conjunction with the sleeves and springs?

If you have to go sideways over speed bumps you are too low on a daily driver.. imho

If you have to ask then you are definitely NOT too low .

Also the bit about cosmos not being low enough unless you modify them is true of all coil-over "kits" that you add to your existing struts .
The only way to get really low is to shorten the strut housing and use inserts from other applications .

If you want to lower the rear more, you can take out the adjusters and run just the spring.

This was too low, and I could have gone down another inch.
