I'm considering getting the suspension technique sway bar kit. Does this include the necessary rear mount reinforcements? If not, will either the Turner or IE reinforcements work in the ST application?
From the pictures of both reinforcements, it seems like the IE has an integrated bushing. They both have similar designs and appear to mount in the same manor. While looking at sway bar kits, I saw that IE now has a 22/19 kit, front and rear adjustable. Anyone have any experience with this kit?
They both come with reinforcement tabs in the kit but the IE kit comes with extra shit that bolts through your trunk. I have ST swaybars and they're great. I have no experience with the IE sways but they do seem to be a good deal especially with the extra reinforcement. FYI: If you go with ST swaybars, the rear bar is a PITA to install. Almost as if they manufacture it 1/2" too short.
The grilles really distract you from the fact that someone took a sledgehammer to the front end.
I'm getting ready to install my ST rear bar and curious what issues you had exactly. I'm going with the IE mounts that bolt thru the trunk also--did you use these?
For the tabs, I would get the AKG ones personally. Welding thicker tabs isn't the best way to reduce bending, although it does work. The AKG ones are a much better, and probably overkill, design.
