setting pre-load on sway bar adjustable end links

What is the proper way of setting the pre-load on adjustable end links for sway bars? I'm in the middle of installing my IE sway bar kit, and want to make sure I set it up right.

You want to have the suspension loaded, ie the full weight of the car on the suspension. remove one link from the sway bar, and adjust the connected link till you get the proper angle you want between the sway bar and the link. Now adjust the disconnected link to where you can install it and not have any load on it.

      Thanks!

I'm assuming the correct angle for the sway bar ends is parallel to the ground. Is that correct?

yes, that or a 90 degree angle between the link and the sway, but with the factory setup that is hard to accomplish up front.
