anyone ever used their springs? I got a set of 7005's I may through in the rear .. just curious if there was any feedback there. The coil diameter is quite a bit thicker that H&R sport rears, but doesnt seem to be as stiff and there are more coils. I am wonder how stiff/low they are going to be.
Jamex?

I used to run Jamex springs on an Audi 5000 back in the day , had a nice drop but were not as stiff as I had hoped .
No experience with them on an E30 htough .
You should just throw them on and keep wichever is lower .....then you can always add springpads to bring it back up if you have to . -
Pretty common downunder, they're not too bad. Having ridden in both a Jamex and H&R equipped E30's, the H&R is a much better performer.

You could calculate the spring rates by measuring the coil diameter, length, and wire diameter. Do a google search for "spring rate calculator" and it will bring one up.My 2.9L Build!

My car came with Jamex. Had a lower stance that it does now with the Apex springs.
Jamex tends to sag and rust out.Comment
