Tilt steering?

Hi there!
I was wondering if any of the E30 models came with a tilt steering column?
My E30 M3 doesn't have one, and i really, really hate it. I'm used to my cosworth that had tilt and telescopic steering, and I was able to drive with the steering wheel in my lap.
In the M3, it sits too high!!

Is it possible to get parts from any other BMW and build a tilt steering?

Move your seat around. E30 steering position is good with me.
