Eibach VS. H&R

    Eibach VS. H&R

    Ok so im trying to decide which way to go on my 91 Cab... I know that most of you guys would swear by H&R Springs but im tossed between going with those or the Eibachs and here is why... the H&R drop the front 1.4 and the rear .75... The Eibach drop the front 1.7 and the rear .8... I really think i would like the stance of the Eibach kit droping the front down more. let me know what you all think and it would be awsome if you could post side shots of your car if you have either of these setups...

      its not so much the stance as it is the actual ride. eibachs generally are very soft.

          I'm about to install eibachs. I almost regretted buying them because there is no change in spring rates - but i seriously drive up and down the freeway all day long. I think with some sways and the billy sports ill be running they will be fine.

              The lower front ride height and lower spring rates of the Eibachs puts your oil sump at risk. A decent pothole or bump can result in destroying the sump.
              The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

                  I have owned eibach's on other cars other than the e30. Now I have H&R races on the e30 and will say the eibach's are very soft compared to H&R races. I honestly like the ride of the H&R races a lot more than any eibach setup I have ever had in the past...

                      Thats H&R cabbie sports.

                      I'm now glad I didn't go with races as I wouldn't want it any stiffer, I don't think.

                      But if I was to do it again I might go for the regular H&R sport 325i springs rather than the cabbie/ix models.

                      As a little lower would be good, as there is not much drop in the rear with this set-up

                      But speed bumps etc are no problem, rides good, real good.
