Unsure, Chris E30 Cab says he has had troubles with his IE3's on his vert in a thread right around this one 'how to raise a suspension' or something along those lines. I'm not sure if thats what are on the black one in his sig or not.
However, supposedly theyre pretty close to H&R race springs, and here's a pic of Dave's old cab with H&R race's and bilstein sports. I was trying to copy this stance but I was a noob when I saw his misquoted post saying they were sport springs. I just bought a set of H&R race's though to "fix" that ;).
Also, people say that the IE3's have a little more reverse rake than the race's do, and for a cabrio, that's just a little heavier already and some of that weight in the rear, it may look a little tugboatish.
Either way, THESE are H&R Race's. Stock tire size. -

I run H&R race with bilstein sports on my cab - love the ride, love the handling - scrape the speed bumps, but meh :)Originally posted by alpinacloneSince the real economy is in the shitter, I say we start our own.
This is how it works; you buy my junk, then I will buy more junk and so on so forth etc. etc. Think of the future of your children and buy my stuff.Comment

I'm on Vogtland and Bilsteins and feel it's dangerously low. Going to a real sized tire to bring some ride height backComment

I have IE3s on my coupe and love them, but I would think that a cabby is going to get a lot of reverse rake. I wish the front would go just a bit lower (I even run mine w/o spring pads). The back end of them is already pretty low and the added weight isn't gonna help.sigpicComment

Even with the stock weaves there was a bit of hotrod rake - higher in the rear than in the front. I love it. I am considering swapping to sports to get a bit more height and better tire wear, but I do love these race springs :)Originally posted by alpinacloneSince the real economy is in the shitter, I say we start our own.
