For those of you who have removed the rear spring pad/pads...

Have yo had any problems with the spring not staying in place on big bumps?

Same. I actually removed both front and rear with no problems/loud clunking noises.

Are they just there for the reducing noise and help keeping the spring tight?

I have my fronts in still but the rears are out. I don't have a problem with loud clunking or anything. The spring stays put. Occasionally the spring will make a little knocking noise but its only if I ride on the reflectors on the freeway. Other than that they don't make any noise at all.

I'm pretty sure the bbq is gonna be later than that bro. No one is gonna go on Easter and too many people leave for the weekend. I think Mariano is shooting for the first week of April. Just FYI
