    Best rear geometry adjuster kit

I'm looking for a kit of eccentrics/bushings that will allow camber and/or toe adjustments in the rear. I know IE has a kit for one or the other, and there are some floating around on eBay, but I want some advice from guys who know more about this than I do. What are the best brands/parts to use with stock rubber TA bushings?

I would say the best is the IE weld-on kit. A lot of ppl have said the kmac bushings dont hold their alignment after a few miles. Not sure about the AKG bushings but they're urethane, and you want rubber. So i would go with the IE kit. You'll have to pull the subframe though to install it.

I was planning on pulling the subframe to do the bushings and rear sway mount reinforcement anyway, so no big deal there.

Note that if you were to pin the K-mac bushings with a set screw they would not lose their alignment. An inconvienence yes. But for autocrossers that I/E kit just isn't legal for anything hardly. You would have to go all the way to XP, or FP.

Hey man, I just bought the bolts/washers/nuts from the steelership.

When I get a minute, I am gonna find some square stock that will do the job, then weld up my own version of the IE kit, only stronger and more intelligent.

So, after I swap out the rear subframe, I will have a spare subframe sitting around.

Want it? You can have it as long as you promise NOT to give it back.

Won't be done by the 29th, though.

            See ya!

That's fine if you aren't autoxing. I just want to point out that LOTS of autoxers use offset or eccentric bushings of one form or another. They all need to be pinned. Just K-mac doesn't say anything because that would seem inconvenient and fewer would be sold.

hmmm, I might take you up on that Luke. All the parts are for the 'vert, so I can take it apart and leave it in pieces for a long time if I want, I'm in no rush. As long as it's done before the picnic :)

btw, I'm about to drop about $1600 for suspension parts  It's getting new EVERYTHING

Agreed. Etxxz has kmac on his car and he's having a horrible time dealing with rear camber.

I would definetly go with the IE kit if you're looking for rear suspension adjustment.

As much as it'll be a brutal PITA I think I'm going to seriously look into all new trailing arms with the adjustments built into the arm itself.

                      Good luck with that.

I like the IE kit also, but I'm going to need to swap mine out since they aren't spece30 legal.

                        Matt,

Can you use the shortened subframe bushings in SpecE30? They did a nice job of curing my camber/toe issues with my car.

How does something that custom not bump you out of your class when autocrossing? And, fancy adjustable bushing mounts do?

I'll have to check. Honestly, I may run non-eccentric urethane bushings... I think the camber is just about right. I can also use spring pads to adjust ride height and thus camber.

Because I can change anything attached to the pickup points, just not the pickup points them selves.

By slotting the holes you are changing the mounting point.
