monroe shocks are junk imo, but to each his own. the springs are supposed to be decent though.Originally posted by BillBraskyThat's like Vlad challenging Chip Foose to a car painting contest.Originally posted by acolella76i'm pretty sure 'Phillis' is short for syphilis

If you need new parts but just don't have the coin for OEM or Bilsteins then something like a Monroe will suffice. It's not good and I'm certainly not saying it's the best choice. But like I said, if you need something and are short on $$$ then they will work fine. May not last as long, may not feel as good handlingwise (then again if your current stuff is trashed anything will feel better) but works.
Consider it an interim solution until you can save up for a decent set up. ; )
Cheers.

anyway.
yeah. so stereo.
you're running the vogtland kyb combo? or just kyb's?
and sexymorningvoice...do you have pics of your ride before and after? And can you tell me what your style of driving is and how hard you drive your car?
I like my car's ride height now because the springs have settled and the shocks are probably not doing their job properly...haha.
don't know if you can really tell what the ride height's like in this picture, but here it is:
can estimate how much lower than stock that is? just...a ballpark figure I guess, because I have no idea how much lower it is.1985 325e
