    What strut diameter?

I'm looking into purchasing the track/school kit from GC. There is an option for 45 and 50 mm strut housing?
Which one does the 90 e30 325 is has?

I've searched the other threads for GC set up and most of the people shorten the housings. I plan to use the stock perches, will it drop low enough to get aproximetely one finger gap on the front?

Early (84ish) e30s (318i) had the thin front struts, rest are bigger. Yes you can drop it that low but I hope you get stiff enough springs (and good inserts) or you'll be on the bump stops all day long.

So no strut housing modification required to get the drop i want with the 205/50/15 tires? And should i go with normal length shocks or shortened?
I'm looking into buying the whole GC kit with koni yellows and 440FR/650R spring rates.
