    Suspension options?

Bought a H&R cup kit for the iS recently and I put it in yesterday.
After abit of a test drive, Came to the conclusion it's abit too soft for my liking especially with 215/40 R17s on the back.

Now, I'm trying to decide what to do....
Take off the whole thing all made up including struts and sell it on again and get Bilstein B8s and Eibach springs to put in with some other struts.

Or, just take out the shocks again and put in a set of Konis with the H&R springs... Anybody have any idea what this combination would feel like?

    Cheers

I've had Eibach springs before and they were Soft. I read somewhere that their spring rates are little different from stock, just shorter.

Am on H&R's now and much happier.

    YMMV.

Keep the cup kit together, and sell it to some poor chap.

Bils. & H&R Race. Very smooth and streetable. If you want a little stiffer, get the ones for a 325i.

The Cup kit is for a 325 after checking up part numbers at different places

It's 31003-1 or somthing which is the front springs for a 6 pot whearas -12 is the Part No. for the iS kit.

It's not really the front I'm worried about anyway, mostly the back. Front would be fine (Possibly abit low for our roads) but it's the back that I need something far harder to stop it bouncing around the place over bumps and in certain corners.

I'm thinking of going for Biltsteins now with some custom springs.
Possibly a 50-30 drop with spring rates of around 250-300 for the front and 150-200 for the rear.

Unforuntately, I'm in Ireland dager325. So by thr time we have postage taken care of, it would be more or less the same price or possible even more than if you bought it at your local shop:-(
