    Camber questions

    Please shed some light!!

    1. If I buy H&R Sport springs and Bilstein Sport shocks, but don't buy camber correction strut bearings for the front and a camber adjustable kit for the rear trailing arms, what is the downside? Is it a safety concern, or bad handling, or just accelerated tire wear, or other? Will my choice of control arm bushings (planning to run M3 offset, OEM style) make any difference?

    2. If I really do need camber correction, will .5 degree in front (BavAuto 31 33 1 139 484) and (BavAuto N62188BAV) be enough? I don't plan on much, if any, track use for this car, and would like to set it and forget it if possible. Budget is, of course, a major concern on the suspension parts.

Thanks in advance for the answers!!

Those springs will cause a slight gain of negative camber. Which will have a positive affect on handling and a negative result on tire wear. The difference is small and not really anything to be concerned about.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Camber gain is not the issue, toe is. In the front this is a non issue since it is adjustable. In the rear depending on the amount of drop it can start to become a problem and you'll notice 'camber wear' on the inside edges of the tires.

You don't NEED to do anything about it and doing something about it will seriously affect any competition classifications. That said, it's nice to have.
