Do you need to index springs on an E30?

Sorry for the ignorant newbie-ness of my question. I searched "index, spring, and perch" in multiple forms, and all I got where 5 pages of how to adjust Ground Controls.

I own a 1990 325i, with the Bilstein BTS suspension kit. The car sits approximately 10mm lower on the driver's side than the passenger (with no one in it).

I am not familiar with E30s in particular, but I know many cars require springs to be rotated properly into their perch, or this uneven ride height will occur. Can anyone tell me if this is required on E30s as well? If not, any ideas what may be the cause? I did not see any obvious shape on the rubber perch to indicate an index position.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you!:)

The fronts sit in one particular location, the rears do not matter.

even if you get them pretty close, they will work themselves into location.
