318is race springs = 325is, 325i race springs. Same thing...The grilles really distract you from the fact that someone took a sledgehammer to the front end.Comment

I'm considering H&R race springs and thick spring pads to raise the height back up for street use. The stiffer springs would be nice for the handling but I don't want to pop oil pans all the time.

The only difference between 318 and 315 would be the front spring rates, so you may end up with a *tiny* bit more understeer at the limit. Unless you are a serious racer, I wouldn't worry about it. Vogtlands are also very high quality, I think that really boils down to preference.Comment

I have Billy sports in the front and KYB's in the rear from my old car.
Not the best set up but for 8 bucks a piece at pick and pull I'm not complaining.
Pics will be posted as soon as the springs arrive.
