If you're referring to my accident, that was in no way my fault and the insurance + police report proves it.

318is race springs = 325is, 325i race springs. Same thing...
The grilles really distract you from the fact that someone took a sledgehammer to the front end.

I'm considering H&R race springs and thick spring pads to raise the height back up for street use. The stiffer springs would be nice for the handling but I don't want to pop oil pans all the time.

Then again, maybe vogtlands would do the trick?

The only difference between 318 and 315 would be the front spring rates, so you may end up with a *tiny* bit more understeer at the limit. Unless you are a serious racer, I wouldn't worry about it. Vogtlands are also very high quality, I think that really boils down to preference.

you wont. the 318 doesnt sit as low as a 325 on the same springs. the overall weight of the car is obviously less so it doesn't go as low.

vogtlands are cool, if you own a VW.

danny, what shocks are you going with? use the thin spring pads and post pics. im sure theres more than 1 318is owner that wants to see how low the car sits.

I have Billy sports in the front and KYB's in the rear from my old car.

Not the best set up but for 8 bucks a piece at pick and pull I'm not complaining.

Pics will be posted as soon as the springs arrive.
