hey guys, recently my car started to make like a deep whining noise when i was turning at a stop or going slow and i also noticed it was a little harder to turn the wheel. something is definately not right, but im still a noob working on my car so i dont no what it is. if anyone could point me in the right direction of where to start looking that would be awesome. any help is appreciated.

Add ATF to PS resoviour. Then, look for leaks. No leaks, replace pump or rack. Sounds like it has to be a speed related load on rack/pump.

Use QUALITY ATF. There is a huge difference in brands. The cheap stuff at the gas station will leak out of the smallest gap in a seal.
