1.6 drop vogtlands, > needs alignment/ camber adjustment?

hi, i recently lowered my eta on the vogtland springs 1.6 drop. Will the tire start to wear unevenly or should i be good without getting an alignment or anything done?

note: all balljoints are good, tierods good, CAB's are new as well

Did you have it aligned after the control arm bushings were added?

E30's have a good bit of negative camber, so they wear tires without the suspension drop. After lowering you will have more negative camber and will wear out the tires a bit more than before.

Not much you can do unless you add a rear camber adjustment kit. There is a kit for toe as well. Since the car isnt adjustable you will just have to live with the camber. But negative camber is a good thing.

I just lowered mine this last weekend with Vogtlands. I had it aligned immediately. Anytime you do anything to your suspension you need to realign it or your wheels are gonna wear unevenly.

I think tire wear also depends on the type/compund of the tires you are running. My old tires (mismatched dry/cracked pirellis) had massive inner wheel wear but the ziex ze 512s ive been running for ~5,000 miles show hardly any signs of wear.

        im also on vogtlands 1.6

          Yes softer tires wear quicker...

An allignment would be a good idea. W/ irelands mine wore like crazy without an alignment.

            Pics please!
I'm about to get some vogtlands as well.
I guess the cheapest place to find them is purems.com?
