I have never heard of lowTec...I assume it is shocks and springs, not a cheap coil over kit? What are the springrates, anyone know?

We've had a few LowTec Group buys for their springs and shocks.
They are just now producing coilover kits for the E30 - they have been making coilover kits for other models for quite some time.
The spring rates for their E30 springs are 285 lb/inch front and 450 lb/inch rear - both progressive.
I'm waiting for the specs for the coilovers.
We are the exclusive US distributors-
                      Here is their website:
LOWTEC Fahrwerktechnik – Der Fahrwerkhersteller aus Bayern.

There is some information on their coilover kits on the website.
These are the options for their springs:
                      Front/rear 40/40MM Drop
                      Front/rear 40/35MM
                      Front/rear 60/35MM
                      Front/rear 60/50MM
                      Front/rear 30/30MM

its 7/31, do you know what the price might be on these yet? Also, Thanks for the information (BMWE34M5). I know you are waiting on more information about the coilovers, but I wonder who builds their shocks for them? I was looking at the Cup kits, and have heard great feedback but would like to know how they might compare as far as handling, driveability, ect...

We are waiting for final pricing and the availibility date on the E30 Coilovers.
The price is going to be similar to the E36 Coilovers.
                          They build their own shocks.
The Group Buy will be posted this evening on www.bimmerforums.com
with posts on the different forums.

Are there ride height adjustments on your coil over kits? If so, say we order a 50/50 drop (which is what I'm interested in) would the adjuster give me +/- 10mm for example or just allow me to lower an additonal 20mm?) Just so I know what to order. I'm curious because I dont know how much the weight of my m52 and larger diff are going to affect ride height (converting early 318 ) Thanks e34,

Edit: Also, do you have the spring rates for the coil overs yet?

Coilovers mean you can change how high or low you want your springs to be. With the regular springs (50/50) drop you will only get that, but with coilovers you can adjust (20-80/20-70).
