I'm planning on getting GC coilovers in the near future along with Vorshlag camber plates, and my car currently has Bilstein Sport shocks on it. Ron over at Bimmerworld told me that the bilsteins really couldn't hold up too well to higher-rate springs, and they give a worse ride. Since konis vs. Bilsteins require different hats on the camber plates, I figured I should ask you guys.
If I get new shocks, I will probably have the struts shortened to allow for more travel. I have heard that the correct shocks come from the Corrado G60; can anyone verify this? If not, what shocks should I use? Or is what Ron said total BS? (I'm inclined to believe he is right, given that he does this stuff for a living.)
