Which struts to use...

I'm thinking of getting cosmo coilovers in race spec. Somethinging like 570lb in the rear and 450lb in the front I believe. I want to set them down pretty low, a little lower in the front than the H and R race setup and similar in the back.

I know that Ground Control sells shortened konis but these are quite pricey, would bilstein sports do the trick? Or are the koni's really worth it?

i think it's the other way around. 450 in the front, and 57o in the rear.

Bilstein sports are designed for H&R pretty much. To go any lower, you'll have to get shorter inserts. I used IX sports, their housing is 3" shorter, and with spacer, fits into your stock housing.

My bad, but still IX strut inserts for the front, and VW gti for the rear. lol

You used bilstien IX sports? And VW for the rear? Hmm. Anyone else doing this setup?

How stiff are your springs?
