Torn between suspension! Eibach or H&R?

I'm having trouble deciding what suspension I want to run on my car.

For a long time, I was planning to go with the H&R Cupkit. But after being in Jordan's car seeing how low it dropped his car and some others, and after all the work I just went through changing my oil pan and the bad roads around here, I've decided I don't think I want to go that low. I want my car to have a nice lowered stance, but not as low as the Cupkit goes.

The setup I've been considering is Eibach Prokit springs/Bilstein Sport shocks. I know a lot of people have the Eibach/Bilstein combo, and I'd like your input.

In this month's PerformanceBMW, they take their project E30 M3 to Silverston, and fit it with this same setup, and reported great results and that they were very satisfied with it.

For me the lower the better, but I haven't heard good things about the eibach/bilstein combo. H&R sports with bilsteins is a very comfortable ride with decent drop and stiffness.

I've been considering the H&R Sports/Bilstein sports as well.

Or the H&R sports are good, I heard they are the same as RD but I don't know for sure.

Yeah the RD's are pretty much H&R sports.

I think I'll end up going with the H&R sports and Bilstein sports. I'd like to stay with H&R.

I've got eibach, it gets the job done but they are a bit soft for my tastes.

I'd say Cup Kit's roll would own you.

Better to go with Sports, or other springs. Hopefully stiffer than that.

Yep, it's going to be H&R Sports/Bilstein Sports for sure.

Where are the best places to get the best prices on both?

Yea, im asking myself the same question, but i have some time to decide. I think that the eibachs dont lower the cabs enough. Theres one guy with a white cab, and black lip and sideskirts who has the eibach bilstein setup and his car does not look low enough at all.

Does anyone have pics of cabs with H&Rs?
                        thanks

318 Driver, We installed the Eibach Kit on a 1992 Cabrio, and it honestly did nothing. I could not tell a difference, and was very soft compared to H&R Sports.

Eurospeed: I know you are looking at the Sports, but have you ridden in a car with H&R Races? I personally do not think the ride is too stiff, to me they do not feel much different (harshness) than sports. However it will depend on your road conditions, etc.... Anyways, If you plan on doing other stuff to your car (bushings/swaybars), you might find that the races end up being too harsh of a ride. Just food for thought.
Also, for one more option, have you thought about the GC weld on spring perches? This way you can change your spring rates easy and cheap if you do not like the stiffness or softness.

Skafrog, (buncha fine e30's in that sig, btw) Do you think the GC coilover setup might be a way to compensate for weight of stereo in the back only? I am not looking for anything more than stance, but I am installing a set of B+G springs just as soon as my struts get here. They claim 1.6" drop front and rear. I am concerned the rear will droop a bit too much after all of the junk I am putting in my trunk happens. I expect box and sub to weigh 75 pounds or more, plus amplification. I shouldn't have to re-align after the rear perch change, should I?
                            Thanks,
                            Luke

Prokit will sag like a whore and look horrid.

All you people that rag on the cup kit, shut the fuck up. I mean seriously. Have you heard of aftermarket sways? you can completely dial out body roll.

Even with the roll it has, my god its perfectly fine!
