    shorter shocks in the front?

on one of my e30 i have build a coilover system,to get it max slammed. but in the front the shock is to tall so i only have 10mm of travel before it is bottoming out. (still original shocks)
is there any other shocks that will fit inside the 316i strut that is a bit shorter so i can cut dovn the strut housing and get more travel.
still using original top mount, i think i can gain a litle there also buy using some other parts. but i still think i nead shorter shocks. is there any koni types that are shorter? any serial number on those so i can order the right ones?

    thanks.

Ground control has them. you will probably need to upgrade to 51mm strut tubes from a 325.

I believe that there is a spacer you can get for the rear also. (to level the look)

Corrado is 51mm, so they won't work in a 45mm strut housing.

You are really better off to find some 320 or 325 housings, and shorten them.
