    PS hose diameters

I'm in the process of removing my power steering and need the ID of both hoses so I can adapt something to loop the hoses. If anyone can provide that information or give me other ideas for looping the lines or plugging the rack it would be appreciated.

The quick and easy way to do this is to move the hose from the reservoir that has the banjo fitting from the pump to the high pressure inlet of the rack. Retaining the reservoir has the advantage of providing a lubrication for the rack and room for expansion as the fluid heats up.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

How much does the fluid expand, especially when not under pressure? What do you think about running a piece of rubber hose between the two side? That would give a tiny bit of "room for expansion?
