    silly rear shock mount problem

my 325 has bilstein with GC RSM's installed.

I'm installing an H&R coil over setup that currently has stock RSM installed.

I figured i'd use the better H&R shock with the nice GC RSM's...

well the RSM's are sitting on the ground righ now looking lonely cause i couldn't get the damn stock RSM's off! with the nut off they spin freely on the strut, but will now pull off. I bent a puller trying to get these stupid things off!

so what is holding this stupid thing on? any ideas? I'll take pictures tomorrow if Mr torch can't solve any problems...
