    Rear GC springs

Does the writing on the spring really go upside down when installed? just checking before I bolt things back together.

    Thanks

I guess I also need a pic of how the rear shock mount bolts up. I want to be sure the welded bolt heads are to face up or down. (again ground control set-up)

The printing on the spring has no effect on the function of the spring itself.

The shock mount issue has been solved...:D

ok - so I got home, and was putting this in - and I cannot get the part with the welded bolts to fit on the inside. Mine is hitting in the outside of the rear shock tower.

Is mine suppose to look like this?

Because mine is not a horseshoe - mine goes all the way around.

I don't have GC, but I do have IE. If that part serves the same function on yours as it does on mine, and i think it does, then it goes on top of the shock tower. It is a reinforcement, to stop the bolts from pulling through the tower.

The reinforcement in the pic is what you should have, which is commonly called a "half moon" for obvious reasons.

The one you have is for e36-46 applications.
