    m tech vs m3 springs

After doing a search,I couldn't find a definitive answer as to which brand lowers your car more.I'm in the process of buying a set of mtech springs from someone in Europe, and was wondering if I'm better off with m3 springs.

Does anyone know for sure if mtechs give a lower drop over m3 springs?I'm not looking for a very low ride height because the roads in NYC are just too treacherous.

M3 springs would be a nice amount lower than MTech's... if you were even ever to truly find a set.
There were over half a dozen sets of springs in the e30 before even getting to the M3 series, which was almost a half inch lower all around, than the lowest "regular" e30 spring you can find.
The M3 spring is sort of soft because of it being tuned for a light front end, but a fresh set of dampers would control them very nicely for a very comfortable streetable ride.
I keep a set of them around for a possible next DD e30 to come my way.

M3 front springs work very well for a 318iC. Lower and stiffer than stock, but not so much as to cause problems for a DD. I still have the regular Cabby springs in back.
