How can I stock rear wheel hop

On my 90 325i, when I shift into 2nd or 3rd and instead of the tires chirping, the rear wheels hop. I have 225/50R15 T1S on the rear so there is traction. My question is it my rear shocks or the rear springs? The springs are Mtech2 or M3 (don't know but has a BMW number on it and is lower than stock)

My guess would be blown rear shocks.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

New bushings (akg poly) completely eliminated wheel hop in my car. Even new stockers would probably help a lot.

I'd say its a combination between your rear bushings and shocks.

What shocks are you using with the springs you have?

I don't remember. They were on it when I got the car 2 years ago. That is one of the next purchases since I will be putting a new subframe with all new bushings in the rear, just got my bilstien sports in the mail. The M3 CA bushings are on back order from Bavauto. Well I don't know what the rear disk brake look like yet so that might be the next purchase then the rear shocks. I am doing all this and have to abbandon the car in less than 2 years cause i will be leaving Germany. But it will be nice and all fresh when I sell it.

I have newish bilistein sports + H&R races and all new rear OEM bushings and my car still hops. Maybe i run too much tire pressure...

Id say go poly for the bushings. Especially the subframe mount ones. Im tempted to pull the subframe again to try em.

Only time I get wheel hop is when I launch with my drag radials on. I have H&R race spring with Koni SA's. Powerflex subframe bushings, IE trailing arm bushings, IE rear shock mounts.

the only time i get wheel hop when the tires are spinning is when its raining. I have poly subframe bushings and new H&R shocks/springs. I always wondered why the wheels hopped though. Is there a simple explanation for this?

So I just looked at the rear shocks, they are blown out Boge. The rear springs say BMW on them and they are black but they are lower than stock so that is why I am guessing that they are possible MTech, they are not that still but it could just be the shocks.
