Need Advice on Bilstein/Vogtland Combo on Ebay

I would like to know whether the Bilstein shocks/struts with the Vogtland Combo on Ebay for $329 plust $59 shipping would be a good choice for a Daily Driver car. I want to lower it, not to low, but I don't like the stock height. I would also like it to be a little stiffer than the stock feel. Do you guys recommend this for what I'm looking for. Thanks in advance!!

I know nothing about the springs, but get the actual bilstein part numbers from the seller and run them on bilstein's site BEFORE you bid/purchase. If they are not the sport shocks do not buy them for lowering springs.

Vogts are a little softer IIRC than H&R sports.

      Vogtland-------------------------225-------------------------360

      H&R Sport-----------------------180------------------------380

      There ya go.

I think the bilsteins are mostly likely the touring, but I will email him and ask. I'll let you guys know when he gets back to me. Thanks.

Just buy the billstein sport/H&R race combo. Plenty stiff and a great drop. The vogtlands always seemed really soft to me

I was checking out turnermotorsports.com and i think i remember seeing a bilstein sport/H&R Sports combo, but its was like 640 bucks, how much more do you think the H&R race will make it? and is it worth it for a DD car... sorry forgot to mention that I was broke =)

i like most others on the board will tell you from personal experience to wait an extra couple or weeks/months until you can afford the recommended combo. i promise you it will be worth the wait.

Having IE Stage3 springs (same rates as the HR RACE) on my car, I would suggest a softer spring for a daily driver. The HR Sport or the Vogs will be what I put on my current project soon to be daily.

Just hold out and wait for the money to come in and buy the billstein sport and H&R sport combo. Nice spring rate for a daily and a nice drop

Yeah, I notice alot of people seem to have the bilstein sport/H&R sport combo. I definately don't want to purchasing something just because its cheap and end up regretting it. I'm going to try to search around more for a better deal on the bilstein/H&R combo. Thanks to everyone for the advice! Hopefully soon I'll have the money to drop it.

                    Cheers!
