Doesn't eibach prokit translate to oil pan failure in german? Be carefull!!! They are comfy but not to safe. Smaked the hell out of the oil pan on my accord. Never bottomed out on my MK2 gti even when it had 4 asses though.

EDIT: Do you still have the trunk tar in that car?

      Got a members rides thread?

I have the same wheels going on a '91 coupe I am rebuilding. I also have a set of Eibachs coming, and have a set of Billly HDs for it.

Say goodbye to those HDs in about 1000 miles or less. Eibach pro kit will blow them out real quick.

And I used to have the pro kit on my iS and eventually swapped them out. But they are a very low drop and a very soft ride. Even with billstein sports I've heard of the eibachs blowing them out for being so low.

All around they are a good commuting spring but they are definitely not appropriate for the track.

I agree 100%, but ive had my suspension like this for almost 2 years now and havent blown out my shocks yet. (knock on wood)
I didnt pay full price for mine btw either. They were on a early e30 that my dad and i bought as a parts car and i swapped everything from that car to mine. including the wheels you see, a mtechII wing, and a momo steering wheel. So these springs are used, and i have no idea how many miles have been on them.

Wow, glad I just found out all this stuff about eibach springs after I bought some. You guys have really bummed me out.

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.

haha, i put on my eibachs not knowing any info on them. Then i found out the pro's and cons' and realized their not that great to most people. BUT owell.. im happy with them for now. If i were you, get some bilstein sports and use your springs and install it on the car. Or, sell them and save up for better springs.
