advice on which struts / shocks to purchase

hello all,

new to the board but not to e30's. i currently have a euro 1989 320i and looking to replace the front struts and rear shocks as they as original and shot! would like to know which would be best to use boge, bilstein, etc. i had a 1990 325i back in the early 90's and installed the bilstein sports and hated them because i lost the complient ride. i am no racer but like to throw her around on occasion. any advice appreciated.

Konis have a slightly softer initial damping valving, and the SAs are adjustable to some extent, plus they are a performance upgrade. If you plan on lowering the car slightly as well, I'd go with the konis.
