    Cab on M3 Spring Question

can cab on m3 springs run oem shocks? its minimal drop, but its good for dd. I think I might go this route. Just wondering if I "have to" get bilsteins. or not.

how old are your struts/shocks? if you have a decent amount of mileage you should replace them while you have your front suspension disassembled. no sense in doing it twice. chances are if you have 100k+ and dont know the condition or when it was last done, it might be a good idea to do it now. shocks, struts, strut bearings/bushings, control arms, tie rods, control arm bushings. all are easier to change when doing a set of springs.

dont be like wishno and take stuff apart on your car twice just to save a buck in the beginning.

shocks have less than 20k on them. So yea, I think I might just stay with the stock shocks if I can. I think the m3 springs lowers a little less than a inch for e30 cabs with a 6 banger. Will using m3 spring prematurely kill the stock shocks?

ride height will not be determining factor on replacement.

if you feel as though your struts are still in service lifespan--then keep.

of course the rear struts are uber easy to change.
