Thought I'd show some pics of a nice custom rear strut tower bar my good friend Russ made for the E30. It's based on a revised version of the mason bar.
The finished product was then powder coated satin black.
Also had a front sparco strut tower bar that needed some mild tweaking (sparco tube wasn't welded on straight/equal on end plates) and the welds were cleaned up and it was also coated to match the rear. Need better pics of the end plates as you can't hardly even see the welds on the sparco now.
*Still need to drill holes and do bolts for the lower points on the end plates for both bars, but you get the idea. I'm very pleased w/ the outcome and they look like they belong in the car in that satin black finish.
