What kind fo spings/struts for a Non car person?

We have a 91 325i, My mom complains it bumps, and feels alot of the road.

She is not into cars at all. She wants something that isnt stiff at all.

sO I Ask you all the pros what would you recommend for the driver who just wants to enjoy the road.

My work sells KYB,monroe,so i can get those at cost.

would those be ok? I dont trust anything non oem,but im open for suggestions.

    thanks

No way, lowering springs plus most women equal epic fail. Don't lower the car it will only make her feel the road more with stiffer springs. Leave the springs stock and get either some KYB gas adjust or get her some billstein HDs. They are both nice shocks that are durable and have a nice ride
Need a performance chip for you BMW? Shoot me a PM and I'll get you taken care of!!

Tell your Mom to go buy a goddamn kia.

This is a BMW. You are SUPPOSED to feel the road, this is a drivers car.

Tell her that SHE is wrong and needs to learn to enjoy it or sell the fucking car to someone who knows how to drive.

              keep it stock honestly

or get some m3 springs they give about a one inch drop and not much of a drastic increase in stiffness

Get some Boge/Sachs OE and check the condition of all of the supension rubber bushings and replace as needed.

If she wants a typical mushball, new is not gonna help.

Yeah, honestly the E30 is a pretty tight ride even with the stock suspension in working order. That's how it is supposed to be.

I dont even know what to say about making it more comfortable. She needs another car, really.

I disagree with that. Ever hear of the rear end "crashing", while going over potholes, ect?

If the the car needs subframe bushings and trailing arm bushings, replacing with OEM ones would help a ton with the ride quality. I would go for shocks first (If they need replaced), and then any bushings/mounts that need replaced. M3 springs, for your mom, would just be just for looks. Very minor if that.
