e46 m3 mounts problems...

    e46 m3 mounts problems...

    i keep popping the bushing out of the rear shock mount. i got billy sports, but seems like any bump pops out the bushing i had to replace 2 1 on each side... anybody ?...

    are you taking abnout the RSM's?
    i was give a NEW pair of aftermarket (made in india) ones.
    they just shit the bed after 2 months. pure shit!!!!
    look at the JT ones on ebay.

        Replace them with Rogue Engineering 3 Series rear shock mounts. I got ine from Bimmerworld.
        The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

          are u guys running bump stops with the billy sports mine dont just the rod straightinto the RSM...WOW im sold on them RSM set from rougue!

              Bilsteins have internal bump stops.
              The grilles really distract you from the fact that someone took a sledgehammer to the front end.

                      I've got the Ireland RSM's. I've had them for the better part of 2 years now. No problems.

                            ON e46 rear mounts there is a spacer/washer(at top where stepped edge is below threads) It sits in the shock rod, if this is not installed properly this rubber bushing will pop out when hittin bumps, especially with stiffer shocks, that is your problem, go to realoem.com and pull up a pic of the rear shocks and you'll see it
