    spring pads

i just got new suspension setup in the mail, h&r race, bilstein sport. ive noticed some people dont run spring pads, some people do or run some not all. from what i gather its to get more drop. are there problems that result from this? i think ill probably run the spring pads but im just wondering. thanks

i run none, and it was indeed to get .5" drop my rake is pretty intense.
i have no problems, no noise, and no difference in ride or wear. if you want it a tiny bit lower in the back take it out, but with the kit you got your gonna actually want to lower the front. Apparently H&R has a spot on those race springs to cut them cause the back does sit a little low so you can cut the fronts to even it out. As soon as it gets a little warmer we are going to do that to our 87 325is and see how it works. It is already fitted with the kit your getting.

anyway hope you like the kit!
