    Eibach Pro Kit

i have a big list of things to do to my car befor bimmerfest and i need springs BAD! i've been looking alittle on what i want but it would help me if you guys gave me some references...

well i want her really low but not too stiff.. my car is a daily driver and it's never been to the track so i dont care for trackable springs i just need a smooth street feel but as low as i can get her.

the "eibach pro kit" lowers front 1.6", rear 1.4 whitch is what i'm looking for exactly... i thnk... because the rear wheel well is lower than the front i wanted it to sit lower in the front than the rear i think it looks better BUT i wanted to ask what you guys thought of the pro kit or even eibach compared to h&r (i dont know crap about springs sorry)

    thanks-

I have the pro kit and it's too soft. I'm running bilstein sports and I think the majority of my stiffness is from the shocks. However, If you want stock stiffness the eibachs are the way to go - just make sure you match them with good shocks.

FYI I'll be upgrading to IE3s or H&R in the near future.

I have two cars.... one with the pro kit and one with H&R Race.

I like the race springs, but the pro kit is a nice upgrade from stock. You will get the look you want with the pro kit.

I can't get a feel for how low the Eibach Pro Kit is. I am assuming it doesn't totally SLAM it down, right? I want my E30 lower but not oil pan scrape low. Also, how has your tire wear been since you went with the Pro Kit? Is your negative camber really bad? I know this is an old thread but I thought I would continue here instead of starting a new one.

hey, i'm not really sure what you're asking but this is what i've found so far i ended up with pro springs just to get a feel but i don't like the way it sits really but thats just me. it was a good upgrade from stock for sure! as for the camber yea i did'nt really notice wear on my tires at all it is just a vary soft kit so don[t plan on taking it to the track or even lane changing quickly feels like a boat. witch is why i am looking to upgrade to an h&r kit soon here... peace-

If you want something low and soft get the kyb's w/ vogtland springs, billy's if you want something a little stiffer

here's a car with the prokit. They are pretty soft. I did take it to a few autox events and competed pretty well in my class with them. *don't mind the asthetics, I tried to fix it, but it was at the point of no return*

Dont mean to thread jack but I plan on getting lowering springs for now and installing them on the stock shocks, until I can afford a decent set of shocks... Has anyone installed lowering springs on stock shocks??
