are GC coilovers really the best?

i know there are several other options but most people seem to go for the gc's. anybody care to elaborate on why? is it a price thing too?

Great price for a good product. Availability of other springs so you can change spring rates. And quality always helps.

they are probably one of the best priced kits out there. from my experience, they have great customer service too if anything should happen, and they will tell you what they think would be best for your needs.

There are definitely better kits out there, but for the price and needs of most people on here GC fits the bill.

How many other companies do you know of where the president/head tech/owner will post up on this board with personal responses (and almost infinite patience) to innumerable suspension questions? And on top of that, the guys over at GC know what they're doing. Their stuff just flat works. Sure, you can go spend the coin on öhlins or KWs, but these are E30s...what's the point?
