    Threeouse AND camber plates

    Hi all,

just wondering if you can use the THR CAB to increase caster, AND at the same time use Camber plates to increase camber ??

    Will that be over-something ?
Like will the extra-camkber added to the extra-caster might affect the ride/handling in a bad way ??

Anybody have both can let me know ??

    Regards from France / Pierre

You can certainly use both. Since the camber plates allow you to adjust both camber and castor, you can dial in exactly the suspension you want. Both are very nice upgrades for e30s.

I'm considering swapping the M3 CABs I currently have on my car for the Treehouse Eyeballs. Anyone know if the dimensions (read: effective caster) is the same?

I believe they are nearly identical. The THR CABs are much firmer though and will create more NVH but better handling.

              I can vouch for that.

I have AKG 75D Poly M3 CABs on my turbo car... and the 318iS I bought has the THR CABs. The 318iS is more harsh than the 325i on the bumps.

Go figure. If my turbo car had A/C I would prefer to daily that instead :p

                Hi Pierre.

Extra caster is always good for high speed stability and improved cornering. Extra camber on the other hand will have side effects. While it will increase contact patch on the ground when cornering, it will also wear the inside of the tires if you only use your car as a street car... If you exclusively use your car as a daily driver, I would suggest not to add extra camber...
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

depending on how low you go, and how much you care about tire wear, then you might need camber plates and even a rear camber adjustment kit thing.

i wouldnt recommend the cup kit though.
