Bilstein HD vs Touring (vs sports).

    Hi,

In a nutshell, given that each one is paired with exact same spring (h&r sport) which one would present ideal match? Ideal in terms of front/rear of the car being in balance, and spring vs. shock being a good match.

I have bilstein sports with h&r sports and I think it's less than ideal match, maybe the valving isn't ideal for such relatively soft springs....at low speeds (about 25-45) I can see/feel the front end of the car moving up/down when driving in traffic on 50. It feels like the shocks are too "stiff" for the spring, so maybe I need Bilstein HD or Touring inserts here?

It's my DD, so I am thinking about pulling the bilstein sports to replace them with something else that would be a better match for the sport springs... I don't autox or hpde this car, so I don't need ultimate grip or anything like that. I want it to be comfortable but not boring like oem ride. So hopefully something just a bit softer than current pair while keeping the same springs.

I've had koni yellow adjustable inserts before, but never HD or Tourings so I have no idea what they are like...

    Thoughts?

i believe that the HD's and the Touring shocks are designed for stock ride heights...

    i could be wrong though!
