    Sway Bar Bushing

Need to replace the sway bar bushings (one's actually missing) while I'm replacing my CA's. I went on RealOEM and noticed that there are three different bushings. See the attachment for the photo.

So, I understand that part #2 is the 18.5mm bushing. But for part #4 I have the option of another 18.5mm or a 20mm. Which one should I be using?

[Side Question] Should I go ahead and replace the sway bar links while I'm doing this stuff?

If you are going to replace one or a pair of bushings on a suspension component, you should replace ALL of them on that component.

You ned to order whichever one matches your sway bar. Measure the diameter of your bar and get the one that matches.

If your endlinks have never been replace, yes replace them. Or if they have play in the joints.

I actually don't have a caliper to measure its diameter. I've never replaced the sway bar, so it should be stock. What does an '85 325e have? I was under the impression that it only had the 18.5mm.

i believe theearly model ETAs had the 18.5mm bars and the later ones had 20mm bars so you should have an 18.5mm bar

look at the bushing that you do have. On the side of the rubber it will tell you the size of the bushing.

or go to harbor freight and pick one up for 10 bucks.
