    lower in front.....

I have H&R sport springs and just got a set of type As. I am really happy with the way the back looks but I would like a little less fender gap in the front.

What do you suggest to lower the front some....

    thanks

If the sports are progressive, then yes, cut a dead coil. Otherwise, a set of drop hats will work. Not sure who sells them anymore, though.

what about taking the rubber pads out? im not sure how much gap this will get rid of but it might be enough.

Drop hat = a shock top hat that either is thinner or allows the spring to sit closer to the body shock tower...

does it have stock FSM? Wouldnt a smaller profile camber plate like from Ground Control lower it a bit more? like 1/2 to 1 inch? lol its as much a question for myself as the OP

How does this affect the ride? a lot harsher?

Ride is only harsher if it puts you on the bump stops...

And plates move the entire assembly upwards slightly, so that should help too.
