Need help fast

So im in a bind, I have paid entry for an auto-x school saturday and race sunday. Im getting a shipment of two new tie-rods and a set of H&R sports that Im trying to get installed by this weekend.

Now my question is both of my shipments come in tommorow before I have an auto-tech class at six in which I will have enough time to do both, however I would not have time to align the car afterwards.

Would driving the car ten minutes to my house from school then drive another ten minutes max up the road to my local tire shop to get the car aligned be harmful to the car or should I just not drive it at all unless I can get it aligned immediately afterwards.

You'll be fine... I've been driving an un aligned car for... a long time. haha. It's not necessarily the best, but it won't hurt anything that short of a distance afaik.

Ok cool thank you. The only reason im so worried about anything else going wrong is at the same time Im doing that Im also trying to figure out this mystery jerking/bucking under heavy throttle so Im rushing to get everything ready by saturday. stress sucks

Just make sure when you replace the tie rods with the new ones that you adjust the new ones as close to the adjustment as the old ones are before replacing them.

Just rotate the new one in or out by loosing the lock screws and screwing the outer section in or out of the inner section until it is as close to the same length as the old one is and then locking it back down. By doing this it will get you as close to the setting you have on the car now for your toe adjustment...

Jerking/bucking under full or close to it throttle could be a vacuum leak, old cap and rotor, etc. I wouldn't worry about it too much for the weekend.
