So i just finished my passenger side strut and spring and did both rear sides last week. When I got the car back on the ground, it looked like it didn't really do much to raise it seeing as how the old coils were cut and I'm trying to raise the car. what I should've done is buy the OE HR sports instead of HR sports but cant do much now. I never saw those when looking for springs so :P. I measured the drive side of the oil pan to the ground since that side hasn't been done yet and its about 4.25 inches. I know I'm gonna have to drive very carefully on the roads (already cracked the pan so after doing the new pan with my new E36 rack, i def will and will also get a skid plate). I'm expecting this measurement to also rise when i do that side since it has the old cut spring on. Could anyone tell me if that might happen for sure and maybe tell me how much clearance they have under their pan?
Suspension Update- How much clearance for you between road and oil pan??
