Can you run coil overs on uncut strut housings? I swapped out my bilstein sports out under warranty and noticed my eibachs were looking rather grubby and some of the paint was cracking off showing some rust. Lasted 7 years of northeast winters oh well. I'm on a budget and would like the adjustability of C.O. for winter etc. I don't want to buy shorter struts etc. Running CO on standard length struts would limit my lowering abilities? or would it be a huge mess? The car is mainly a DD that likes to get "driven" on twisty back roads and hopefully some auto x / trackdays. Thanks for hearing my thoughts

A while ago I talked to Jay at GC. I have brand new Billie sports and didn't wanted to keep them. His alternative was to cut the srping perch and use their $400 CO set, have the adjuster welded on to the housing and you can still use your stuts. I didn't do it but that is an option.Originally posted by NicademusMy car beats off to that car.
