    Busted Bearing

I always forget what side means what.

Anyway, I turn left, the noise stops. I turn right, it gets louder.

It must be the driver's side front, yeah?
Me: "I can't wait to redline my car!"
Mark: "Didn't you just break a rocker arm?"
Me: "Yeah, I don't think I've learned my lesson."
    Mark: "You never will."

Bentley manual. Get one if you don't already have one. I just took mine apart.

        Tips are:
        Air tools are awesome
Rust sucks - If you have rust be prepared for alternate methods.

Yeah I noticed the spec for the bearing nut is 210ft lbs.

I'm no twig, but I'm certainly not Ahhnold so I think I may be headed to the shop instead.

Good choice. Many forum members will take their car to a shop for wheel bearings. It is a bit of a hassle. I hear fronts are easier than the backs, so get out the breaker bar, right sized socket, PB blaster/liquid wrench, and a very long pole. Make a day out of it. G/L

Yeah, I'm just one of those guys who hates not being able to do it himself?

I completely hear you there. Plus I don't trust anyone with my car. I always stand in the shop's bay watching everything they do. You can pull it off though. It all depends on the tools you have and how much rust/corrosion stands in your way.
